“The X1 model’s powertrain and chassis are far superior to the Audi’s, and its interior, although less spacious, is constructed with better materials and to a higher level of quality. It’s also more fuel efficient, and it has the greater cargo volume,” stated Car and Driver magazine.
According to Car and Driver magazine, “From behind the wheel and from a standpoint of daily functionality, it’s the BMW that sets the standard. It’s more comfortable, its interior and infotainment system are easier to use, its ride comfort is superior, and it outperforms the Mercedes in every conceivable way.”
“In this comparison, the BMW 330i does the better job of successfully bridging the gap between the diametrically opposed automotive requirements of fun and practicality—between wanting a sports car and needing a sedan” said Car and Driver magazine.
The BMW X7 has a more refined inline-six, gets better fuel economy and has a little more horsepower than the Mercedes-Benz GLS. According to Car and Driver magazine, “The X7 is less expensive and better to drive while still offering loads of practicality heretofore unseen in the BMW lineup is enough to earn it our vote over the GLS.”
