Two Levels of Performance

The performance chops of your 2020 BMW X3 come in two distinct styles, with the difference being the engine that you have fitted under the hood.

The base motor is plenty capable. The 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and is able to generate 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. That 8-speed also comes with Sport and Manual Shift modes for a more interactive experience.

A 6-second 0-60 MPH time shows just how eager the 2.0L engine really is.

The alternative performance option comes from a 3.0L turbo 6-cylinder, which boasts 382 horsepower, 365 lb-ft of torque, and hits 60 MPH from a standstill in just 4.4 seconds.

The same 8-speed automatic transmission from the 2.0L guides the 3.0L engine as well. Run-flat performance tires are standard, too.

Adjust the Cabin to Your Needs

Inside the BMW X3 you’ll find a cabin that will conform to your everyday needs, whether that means carpooling to work or running the kids to soccer practice.

Legroom is a strength no matter where you find yourself sitting. The first row provides 40.3 inches of legroom while the second offers up 36.4 inches. For long road trips with five passengers, you’ll appreciate the generous shoulder room that checks in at 57.6 inches up front and 56 inches in the rear.

When it comes to cargo capacity, you have options. The first option is to leave the second-row seats standing, which affords you 28.7 cubic feet of cargo space. If you decide to fold the second row flat, you’ll then have 62.7 cubic feet of cargo capacity!

Safety Technology Is Always Present

The driver-assistance features in the BMW X3 are always alert and will happily intervene if the situation calls for it.

The host of available technology is expansive and includes Active Guard with Frontal Collision Warning, Automatic City Collision Mitigation and Braking, Daytime Pedestrian Detection, and a speed limit information system.

Adaptive brake lights and programmable LED daytime running lights are two features that increase visibility while also helping your SUV stand out during nighttime travel.

With the BMW X3, you can have fun while running through a list of errands around D’lberville, Biloxi, and Gulfport. To see how this SUV really performs when you’re behind the wheel, schedule a test drive with our Galleria BMW team!
